Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and, with your consent, measure how the site is used. Some technologies are not cookies in the strict sense (for example local storage) but serve similar purposes and are covered by this policy.

Our consent banner lets you accept or refuse cookies by category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them; all other categories are off by default and set only if you opt in:

• Strictly necessary: required for the site and the application to work (for example security, session, and recording your cookie choices). Always active, no consent required.
• Performance: help us understand how visitors interact with the site by collecting aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics (product analytics via PostHog Cloud EU, hosted in Frankfurt). Set only with your consent.
• Functional: remember preferences and choices to improve your experience. Set only with your consent.
• Targeting: would be used to measure or personalise marketing. We do not currently use targeting cookies; the category is presented so your choice is recorded if this ever changes. Set only with your consent.
• Social media: would be set by embedded social media features. Set only with your consent.

Our product analytics (PostHog Cloud EU, Frankfurt) only run if you accept the Performance category. If you refuse, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics events are collected. You can change your decision at any time (see below).

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, refuse non-essential cookies, or customise your choice per category. Pre-ticked boxes are never used: every non-essential category is opt-in. You can also change your browser settings to block or delete cookies, though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work.

Cookie lifetimes vary by purpose: some are session cookies deleted when you close your browser, others persist for a limited period to remember your choices or to measure usage. Your recorded consent is kept so we do not ask you on every visit.
